Description
- Coral
elaborately carved as a dragon entwined around a bottle-form vase, both emerging from a profusion of floret-form cloud scrolls, surmounted by a flaming pearl finial, the coral of rich salmon-pink with characteristic patches of speckling and cloudy swirls (2)

Condition
This is in very good condition overall with minor and expected nibbles around the edges of the carving. One tip of the flame containing the pearl at the dragon's mouth is chipped and the pearl itself has a 1/8 inch diameter circular loss at the surface. The lower area of the vase is speckled with natural inclusions, visible in the catalogue illustration.
