of rectangular section raised on four tall blade-shaped legs, decorated around the body in shallow relief with taotie masks divided by flanges, all below a narrow frieze of stylized dragons below the everted rim, set with a pair of upright U-shaped handles, the raised parts of the design highlighted in gold, the base with a six-character apocryphal Xuande mark
