the cylindrical brushpot carved in low relief with a continuous scene of a scholar with two acolytes, one gesturing towards a crane in flight amidst pine tree branches issuing from a gnarly pine tree, the other side further carved with craggy rockwork

Condition
There is a small shallow chip to the branch next to the crane as well as some very minor nicks. There are some age cracks as expected for pieces of this type. The overall condition is good.
