- Zitan wood
the single-panel top set within a rectangular frame set off with an narrow inlaid brass band, supported on beaded legs of square section ending in scroll-form feet, all joined by beaded archaistic scroll-form stretchers
Condition
One of the legs may be replaced - there are three rectangular 1 inch narrow rectangular restoration areas on this leg which suggests it may have come from another piece. The panels on the top of the table have shrunk slightly and the gap between the frame and the panels have enlarged slightly overtime. There are three 1 inch sections on the apron on the long sides which have been replaced. There is a 5 inch section on one of the short side which has been replaced. The underside of one apron has an approximately 2 inch restored area.
