the rectangular field woven in silk and gold metallic thread with five dragons contesting flaming pearls, enclosed on all sides by a band of ruyi-heads above a lishui border, woven at one end with the four-character inscription Tai He Dian yong ('For use in the Hall of Supreme Harmony')
Condition
The carpet is in overall very good condition. The colours are bright and the is just a little wear to the tufted silk.
