each brightly enamelled in dark green, yellow, aubergine and pale turquoise with two peony sprays on one side, separated by butterflies from a spray of wild roses, all over two finely incised dragons chasing a flaming pearl, the base inscribed with an underglaze-blue six-character Kangxi mark (2)
Condition
First bowl:
There is a very thin 3 inches section just the mouthrim which appears to have been polished down slightly. Otherwise in good condition.
Second bowl:
There is a one inch chip to the mouthrim which has been restored with an assoicated area of repainting. Otherwise in good condition.
