Description

  • CERAMIC
the heavily-potted body with straight sides rising from a recessed base to a broad slightly flaring rim, brightly enamelled to the interior with a scene from 'The Yang Family Women Generals', encircled at the rim by leaf and scroll-shaped panels enclosing birds and landscapes all reserved on a floral and green seeded ground

Condition

The basin has a circa 23cm wide crescent-shaped section of over-spray to the exterior, rim and interior, minor glaze firing imperfections, light fritting around the rim and minor glaze scratches.
