Description
- CLOISONNE
the broad shouldered baluster body rising from a spreading foot to a narrow waisted neck with rolled rim, polychrome decorated around the exterior with leafy scrolling lotus reserved on a turquoise ground, all between lotus-lappet and stiff leaf bands, the footring and rim gilt
Condition
The meiping is in good overall condition with the exception of some enamel loss and infilling around the neck, loss to a 15 x 2mm., section of enamel at the foot and characteristic overall light pitting and enamel shrinkage.
