of compressed spherical form, cast with two lion masks, with a beaded band above the base and below the rim on three cabriole legs, the circular stand with three arched scroll feet, all covered with gilt splashes

The censer is in very good overall condition with the exception of a slight depression to the rim, light rubbing to the patination at the rim and around the edge and base of the feet, and minor nibbles to the rim; the later stand is in good overall condition with the exception of light scratches and rubbing to the patination.
