depicting a pavilion in the foreground, with lattice windows behind columned verandas, inscribed 'You geng lai yi' (fit for a visit by a phoenix), beside a wutong tree, the front with marble steps leading to a bridge leading to bamboo gazebo, the middle ground with further pavilions and temples, rising to a retreat at the top of a hill, in a mountainous landscape

Condition

This painting is in fair condition and has numerous vertical and horizontal creases throughout. There are some areas of repair to the upper centre and upper right areas, as well as the lower left ares with some over painting. There is some staining to the surface in the upper left and right areas of the work, but the colours are generally bright throughout.
