Description

each globular body with trumpet neck and short foot, painted with iron-red and famille-rose enamels with various open-winged butterflies, the collar with a band of lotus scrolls and shou characters, a ruyi-head border at the mouth, a row of lappets above the straight foot, all against a white ground

Condition

These vases are in good condition, but both have rubbing to the gilding to the rims and the bands at the shoulders. There is also scratches to the glaze to the exterior of both.
