Description
- WOOD
of lobed quatrefoil shape raised on a short spreading foot, the cover carved in high relief with a ferocious scaly five-clawed dragon amidst ruyi-head cloud scrolls, the wood patinated to a dark chocolate tone
Condition
This box and cover is in generally good condition, however there is an old repair to one side of the cover 4.5cm wide. There is also a small area of repair 1cm wide to one of the corners of the foot.
