Description

  • Ivory (Loxodonta Africana)
carved seated on a rockwork, wearing a long flowing robe and elaborate beaded jewellery, her face with gentle smile and framed by a hooded cowl, the ivory patinated to a rich toffee tone

Condition

The carving is in very good overall condition with the exception of some old small nibbles to the extremities including loss to the nose, the top of the head and the hands.
