Description

the raised foot rising to a rounded body and flaring rim, the exterior carved with a continuous band of scrolling lotus, covered in a pale celadon glaze, the interior white with a central shou character below two dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst flame and cloud scrolls

Condition

The bowl is in very good overall condition with the exception of over-painting and restoration to an 8mm., wide external rim flake, minor glaze firing imperfections including iron spots and tiny bisters and minor glaze scratches.
