Description

well carved in the round as a fish with scaly body and striated tail, grasping in its mouth a sprig of lotus leaves, the translucent stone of a white tone with russet inclusions

Provenance

Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1970s.

Condition

In overall very good condition. The actual colour of the white stone is very similar to the catalogue illustration.
