Description

the robustly potted deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, reverse decorated in rich cobalt-blue tones to the interior with a ruyi medallion enclosing a quatrefoil panel with a boy holding a lotus reserved on a leafy scroll ground, encircled at the rim by a 'classic scroll' band, the exterior similarly decorated with five boys holding leafy scrolling lotus stems, all above a lotus-lappet band at the base, the base with the underglaze blue four-character mark 'Cang lang lu shui'

Condition

The bowl is in overall very good condition except for some light surface scratches in the interior. There are a few pinholes and body lines to the base.
