A PAIR OF ZITAN LOW TABLES QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

each of rectangular form with a broad table top set in a plain frame, resting on a beaded-edge cloud-shaped apron decorated in low-relief with archaistic scrolls, extending to square-section legs terminating in hooved feet

One table has two small sections of the apron replaced. One brace on the underside of the table top possibly replaced. The other table with one leg repaired and reinforced with fill. A couple of pieces of the apron are also replaced around that particular leg. The table top has a small loose triangular piece in the frame and an 8cm filled crack. There is a 3 cm chip to the beading on the apron.
