of rectangular form, supported by a low foot, the dish with an everted keyfret rim, the inside carved in high-relief with two ferocious dragons in mutual pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', all surrounding a waisted cup pedestal in the centre, encircled by bands of bosses and lappets, the stone of varying tones of green with natural inclusions, fitted wood stand

Condition

With the exception of minute nibbles to the edges of the rim due to the natural veining of the stone, this piece is in excellent condition. Please note that the stone is of a slightly more yellow tone than illustrated in the catalogue.
