Description
the slightly compressed globular body rising from a short straight foot to a tall waisted neck with flared rim, brightly enamelled around the exterior of the body and neck with bats in flight amidst ruyi-head cloud scrolls, divided at the shoulder by a shou character and a lotus strapwork collar within gilt bands, the base with an iron-red six-character mark
Condition
The overall condition is quite good with most of the enamelling and gilt decoration well preserved except for the mouth rim. There are some glaze pulls on the foot and a 1.5 cm star crack on the base.
