Description

the ovoid body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall waisted neck set with a pair of dragon handles, finely gilt-decorated around the exterior with the bajixiang amidst cloud scrolls and within lotus-lappet and ruyi bands at the base and shoulder, the neck with two bats each suspending a musical chime, all between a stiff leaf band at the lower neck and a pendent jewelled band at the rim and reserved on a rich dark blue ground, the interior and base turquoise, the base with an iron red six-character seal mark within a square

Condition

The overall condition is very good. There is just a little light wear to the gilding mostly near the foot.
