Description
finely carved in the form of two pomegranates growing from an entwined leafy branch, an alert toad naturalistically carved standing on the larger pomegranate with one foot balanced on the other fruit, fine incised markings accentuating the details, the polished white stone with russet and white mottling, fitted stand
Condition
The overall condition is good except for 3 minute chips to mouth of the larger fruit and one minute chip to the edge of one leaf below.

The present jade group is notable for its elegant proportions and refined carving. The representation of pomegranate (shiliu) and toad (chan) expresses the blessing of ding cai liang wang (may you have an abundance of sons and wealth).
