Description

finely carved in compressed globular form, the flat domed cover carved with a shou character encircled within a key-fret ring, the shallow fitted box with a thin inner lip, supported on a low footrim, the translucent stone of pale-green tone with natural veins and inclusions

Condition

The overall condition is very good. There are no nicks to the edges. The actual colour of the stone is a lot greener than the catalogue illustration (closer in colour to 1984 in the catalogue).
