Description

of truncated and tapering form, imitating a rhinoceros horn cup, the exterior naturalistically carved with winding branches issuing two finger citron blossoms forming the handle to one end, with leaves delicately poured over the rim, the wood of chestnut brown color

Condition

The overall condition is quite good. There are a couple of minor nibbles to the rim and a 6 cm natural age crack has been filled in and stabilized. There are a few other short age cracks along the rim. The patina is lustrous.
