Description

the compressed globular body finely painted with a pair of sinuous green dragons flying amidst multi-colour scrolling clouds, all between a key-fret border and turbulent green waves, the recessed base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six-character reign mark

Condition

There are two sets of restored hairline cracks on opposite sides of the vessel. One set is a long Y-shaped crack extending from the rim, with an attendant hairline crack extending from the rim. The other hairline also extends from the rim and runs diagonally down towards the base (but does not extend all the way to the base). The enamelling is in very good condition.
