each modeled as a lotus bud with pink petals curling to form the bowl tapering at one end with a notched tip, the yellow stamen on the interior pierced with a small hole leading to the hollow green stem set on the exterior forming the spout, the stem inscribed with a date Da Qing Guangxu sanshisi nian Anhui Taihu fujin jiuzao jinian bei, ('memorial cup for the autumn manuevers near lake Tai in Anhui in the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu')

Condition

Both stems have been broken and restored. There is a minor 2 mm chip to the tip of the tendril extending off of the stem. The overall condition is still quite good.
