Description

the thin translucent white jade incised and filled-in with gilt on one side with a scholar ensconced in a hut surrounded by mountains, the corner incised with a short poem, signed Chen Wang Jie jin shu ('respectfully written by Wang Jie), with one seal Chen Jie  the reverse inscribed with another poem in kaishu script, stand

Condition

The jade has some natural white inclusions scattered throughout. The gilt remains quite intact on the front side on the landscape, the poems do not have any traces of gilding within the incised characters.
