Description

moulded with three peaks, painted in vivid tones of cobalt blue, decorated with three dragons rising from immortal mountains, their bodies wrapped around the peaks, the narrow rectangular base inscribed with a six-character reign mark in regular script

Condition

The overall condition is very good with only firing cracks around the base and a 1 cm chip to the edge of the mark on the base. There are a couple minor glaze frits (on the back of the central dragon's head, the top of the left dragon's head). The actual colour is less purple and darker blue than in the catalogue illustration.
