Description

the slightly spreading foot rising to a gently tapering body to a waisted neck and flaring rim, painted with rectangular panels of soldiers on horseback in a fenced garden with boys amongst swirling clouds, below leaf-shaped panels at the neck and foot

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition with the exception of a 4cm hairline firing line to the base, fritting and chipping to the rim and minor glaze firing imperfections including iron-spots, burst glaze bubbles and light glaze scratches.
