the straight sided box and cover painted in rich cobalt-blue tones with a landscape band, the slightly domed cover similarly painted with a river landscape scene, the base with bat mark, 7.8cm., 3in; together with a blue and white ba gua seal paste box and cover, with bat mark to base, and a blue and white water pot with apocryphal four-character Wanli mark to the base

Condition
The straight-sided seal paste box has a 1cm., hairline rim crack, overall light glaze crazing and discolouration, and minor tiny burst glaze bubbles; the 'ba gua' seal paste box and cover are in very good condition; and the water is in good condition with the exception of a light overall glaze crackle.
