the front embossed with a design of scrolling foliage, above three rounded slits and mounted with small Beijing enamel plaques, decorated with florets and scrolling lotus

This is generally in good condition, but has two pins missing from the upper section and one of the small brass mounts of the back. Most of the lacquer from the underside is missing, with just a small amount remaining. There is some general staining and scuffing to the leather, especially the reverse.
