of elegant waisted form, the circular top above a high waist carved and pierced with an archaistic dragon band, the shaped apron carved and pierced with leafy strapwork converging at the shoulders of the long, slender cabriole legs carved with taotie, the legs terminating in curled feet set upon oval pads and joined by a pierced circular base

This stand is in generally good condition, but it does have a small dent to the upper surface towards the outer edge of the centre, there is also some scratching to the uppers surface. There is also a small wood pin missing from centre of two leg spandrels and there is a 1.5cm chip to the edge of one C-scroll at the ride side of one of the pierced panels. There is also two minor dents to the top of one leg.
