the slightly spreading foot, rising to a rounded body, waisted neck and flaring rim, delicately and brightly enameld with rectangular panels of ladies with attendants standing in gardens, alternating with pomegranate-shaped panels of mountainous river landscapes each above a panel of a deer and a crane, on an ornate chrysanthemum scroll iron-red ground

Condition
This vase is in very good condition with the exception of areas of rubbing of the black enamel concentrated to the mouth and foot borders, a pinhead size burst glaze bubble and associated glaze crack (approx 5mm) to the foot rim, tiny burst glaze bubbles and firing imperfections overall, and overall light scratches to the enamel.
