Description
- ceramic
of bell shape, the splayed foot rising to a rounded lower section, the everted sides rising to a flaring foliate rim, the exterior carved with an abstracted foliate design, covered with a celadon glaze deepening in colour where it pools in the recesses
Condition
This is in good conditon, but does have some pin hole sized burst bubbles to the exterior and interior, some are as large as 1mm in diameter. There is a small piece of kiln grit adhered to the centre of the exterior (2mm x 1mm) and a 2mm diameter iron spot. The rim also has numerous iron stains to the rim.
