Description

  • Jadeite
the ruyi terminal carved in relief with a fruiting peach issuing out of rockwork, surmounted with a bat, the curved handle carved with bamboo, chrysanthemum and lingzhi fungus issuing from rockwork above breaking waves

Condition

This sceptre is in good condition, but there is a vertical grey (5cm) flaw running through the left side of the terminal. There is also a (2.5cm) flaw running diagonally from the top right area of the terminal adjacent to the bat. There is also a (6cm x 1.5cm) flaw to the handle.
