each beast recumbent with legs beneath the body, the head raised looking straight ahead and the body carved in low relief to each side with a taotie mask divided by a central ridge running from the large curled horns down the animals back, the jade of celadon green tone with russet inclusions

Condition
The ox are in very good condition with the exception of one beast that has a tiny flake associated with a fissure on the top side of the mid point of each horn.
