Description

the gently rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, painted to the interior with a medallion enclosing a large iron-red scaly five-clawed dragon reserved on underglaze blue foaming waves, the exterior similarly painted with nine dragons on a wave ground below a floret and cloud band at the rim

Condition

The dish is in very good condition with the exception of a 2mm., wide rim chip and very light glaze scartches and very light scratches to the iron-red decoration.
