A rare and impressive model of good overall appearance. Piece is slightly brighter than suggested by the catalogue illustration. Ivory in good condition overall with one crack to her left shoulder and another to her right shoulder. Ivory hands possibly later. One filled crack to her left hand. Old marks and scratches and wear to cold painting, consistent with age. Reverse with visible screw to centre of the her cloak for securing the body. One of the most sought after Preiss models, ready for display. Prospective purchasers are reminded that this object contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, it is illegal to import elephant ivory under 100 years old into the United States.
