Catalogue Note

"Once abundant and apparently inexhaustible, wood has always had an important role throughout history. Today, reality is different and we need to conceive its use and presentation in a more intelligent manner.
My pieces are designed based on the reutilization of wood that once had other functions, or leftovers found in the forest with no commercial use. During incursions through the south of Bahia I seek out raw materials that are selected in an ecologically correct manner, that is, trees that have been dead for long periods of time due to forest fires or deforestation."
