Catalogue Note
This very rare rare Civil War broadside, written from the Parliamentary viewpoint and recording the chief events of the First Civil War which occurred between 1641 and 1645 (ending with "the peace with the Irish rebels"), is recorded in only two copies, both at the British Library: one in the Thomason Collection and another, imperfect copy without the portraits.
