In this letter to Buxton - a friend from the war in Arabia and Lawrence's bank manager - Lawrence explains how he proposes to juggle the cost of the Seven Pillars, in response to Buxton's suggestion that Lawrence could recoup the cost of his war memoirs with a deluxe subscribers' edition of about 100 at £25 each.
