1) Wyncken, General Lieutenant Christian, collection of papers relating to the King's German Legion, most from his collection and some apparently in his hand, some papers relating to the participation of the 1st Light Battalion at the Battle of Waterloo, including "Aufzeichnungen des am 10 September 1853 zu Verden als Commandeur des 2ten Infanterie Division verstorbenen Königlich Hannoverschen General Lieutenant Christian Wyncken", "Memoranda concerning the K.D.L. by Major Ch. Wyncken 1st Light Inf. K.G.L. 1803-1816", and "Kurze Beschreibung der Theilnahme des 1sten Leichten Bataillons des King's German Legion an den Feindseligkeiten im Juni 1815 und der Schlacht von Waterloo", , c.250 pages, folio, nineteenth-century blue folder, one page dated Hanover, 5 March 1832; 2) Hartmann, General Sir Julius, volume of manuscript material used by in his history of the Artillery Regiment, King's German Legion, in the period 1803-1816 ("Anlagen zur Geschichte des Artillerie Regiments K. D. Legion vom Jahr 1803 bis zum Jahr 1816"), over 250 pages, bookplate of Ludlow Beamish, nineteenth-century boards, no place or date; 3) Seffers, Lieutenant, manuscript copy of his notes of the 2nd Light Battalion of the King's German Legion from January 1806 to August 1809 ("Quellen zu Legion.
