2 volumes in one, folio (322 x 193mm), titles in red and black, first title-page with woodcut device, second title-page with woodcuts of cannons, woodcut illustrations, 6+7 folding engraved or etched plates, 3 woodcut plates in part 2, woodcut device of Feyerabend at end of each volume, contemporary German blind-stamped calf over wooden boards dated 1576 with the initials FM, small marginal wormhole in first few leaves, small wormhole in text of book 2, large wormhole in text of last few leaves, first engraved plate with a few small repairs affecting image, second plate torn at fold into two pieces and creased, a few other plates repaired at fold or slightly torn, binding rubbed, lacking both clasps
