Catalogue Note
Designer and illustrator, Sara Fanelli (b. 1969) is well-known for her experimental children's books, combining drawing and collage. This piece is based on her cover design for Pinocchio (published in 2003). The original design was awarded the first prize for book cover and jacket illustration in the V&A Illustration Awards in 2004.
