  • An Egyptian Bronze Figure of Horus

  • Height without tenons 7 in. 17.8 cm.
the striding falcon-headed god raising his left hand in a gesture of salutation, holding a fragmentary object in his right hand, and wearing a pleated kilt with Knot of Isis in front, belt decorated with zigzag lines and a cartouche, bracelet, armlets, broad collar, and striated tripartite wig, the arms cast separately, the details finely engraved.

Condition

Appears to be restored through the chest area and proper right shoulder, some repair and restoration possible on the lower right leg, the preservation of the fine detail is excellent.
