Condition

Good overall condition. Minor veneer age cracks to pediment with possible veneer restoration, although the `piecing' could be original to the cabinet. typical age cracks to sides which have been restored. General old marks and scratches. The patina is exceptional. The handles appear to be original. The backboards are original but have some inevitable age cracks. A very unusual example firstly in that it is serpentine and also because it is particularly well carved including the rare form of feet. The inlay is most distinctive and seems to be original. repolished finish
