Condition
As can be seen in the catalogue, the plate is cracked across the bottom right hand side. The plate has a small chip adjacent to the crack. The silvering to the plate around the edge is worn in places and there are other old marks to the plate consistent with age. The silvered frame has been re-silvered and is in good condition. The plate has a mirrored plug in the centre suggesting that it was originally fitted with a central arm. The present arms are later and have been drilled for electricity. Despite the damage it is very attractive piece.
