Condition

This bureau is in overall good condition. The colour is good. It has been re-finished. The top right hand edge has a replaced strip of veneer. Minor characteristic patching around flap and drawers. Top left hand corner of the flap has a patch. Hinges to flap replaced and with patching around them inside the desk. Handles and escutchions replaced with slight ghosting around them indicating position of previous handles. Old marks and scratches to interior. Replaced leather to insode of flap. Minor restoration to front edge of two shelves above small drawers in interior. One drawer front has a patch and the front right hand foot is also patched. This foot has been re-veneered.Age cracks to right hand side. Rear right hand foot with an age crack. Old marks and scratches including old pitting throughout.
