Description

now with an an engraved brass nozzle

Condition

The engraved brass nozzle covering up a broken neck. Extensive restoration to the foot. Two areas of restorations and re-painting to the body, each approx 1" by 1". The glaze is overall crazed, with extensive small impurities and with same areas of brown staining, particularly to the neck and above the foot. There is a hairline crack at the base of the neck which runs diagonally across the body, approx. 3" length. There is a small bare patch to the glaze, probably caused by an impact approx. ½ " by ¼".
