each painted in the centre with a vignette of cockerels and other birds, within tortoise-shell ground borders painted in gilding with ornaments between bands (two plates with restored border, one with repaired rim chip, all with some rubbing to gilding)

Condition

one plate with restoration to border (c. 4cm. x 2.5cm.); one with a restored rim chip (1cm.x .3cm.,), and two related cracks running down and across the plate border; one with restoration to broken border section (c.12cm. x 4cm.) and a restored rim chip (c.1cm. x 0.7cm.); all plates with rubbing to gilt edges and gilt band around the central medallion
