Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter and contrast is more important in the original.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The canvas is slightly wavy along each of the four edges. Under UV light, no trace fluoresces.
A few stable cracks of dry impastos are visible upon close inspection. The tip of a nail from the stretcher is visible through the canvas, along the left edge (approx. 25 cm from the upper left corner).
The work is in very good condition.
